In Amazon and Apple Strike Deal for Prime Video In-App Purchases and Subscriptions, John Gruber patiently describes how Amazon has cut a deal with Apple to live in the Apple TV ecosystem, so that existing Prime customers can create in-app purchases via Prime, and not via Apple.
