Steelcase Brody worklounge won the popular vote for contract furniture in the 2016 Architizer Award. Notice the variant on the right with a mini-wall providing privacy. We’re in a privacy-starved time, right now, given the excesses of open office plans. Also, people would rather lounge and squirm than sit and slump.
PS I wish hotels would provide worklounges (without partition) instead of lounge chairs or desks. Much better than unadjustable tabletops and chairs not designed for working.
