Because of the conversation I sparked with the recent series of posts at CMSwire about social collaboration’s shortfall, I decided to make that the topic of a keynote at Social Now in Amsterdam on April 21. Here’s the précis:
Stowe Boyd explores the structural reasons that conventional ‘social collaboration’ tools are giving way to other forms of communication and coordination of work, in particular the rise of work chat tools. These include social scale of work, the shift from management to leadership, and why ‘collaboration’ slows everything down.
I’m looking forward to it.
