I have thought a great deal about how research needs to change to become more relevant to the changing economy. Hence this new publication, where I hope to post, collect, and curate thoughtful investigations on the subject.

The title is derived from T.S. Eliot’s Little Gidding:

For last year’s words belong to last year’s language
And next year’s words await another voice.

We need new ways to think about — and talk about — this rapidly changing world. That’s the aim of my new endeavor, Another Voice, and this publication, Next Year’s Words.

Insatiably curious. Economics, work, psychology, sociology, ecology, tools for thought. See also workfutures.io. @stoweboyd.bsky.social.
